The Life Response USA medical panic button is basically a radio-transmitting device featuring a large red panic button. The wristband version of the panic button is available in black and white and comes with adjustable, commercial bands. The company also offers a smaller radio-transmitting device that can be attached as a pendant to a necklace and worn around the neck.

Medical Emergency Notification service

When the red Life Response USA medical panic button is pressed, the transmitter sends a signal to the base unit. The base unit, in turn, sends an alert out to the Life Response monitoring center, where a trained operator receives and responds to the alert. If the subscriber is able to communicate, the operator determines the cause of the emergency, notifies paramedics and others about the situation and remains online till help arrives. If the subscriber is unable to communicate, the operator immediately notifies emergency medical services and previously designated individuals of the situation.

Life Response USA Base Unit

The Life Response USA base unit communicates with the monitoring center over a standard telephone line. The device comes with an integrated two-way speaker and a built-in microphone. The base unit can receive signals from up to 600 feet away. It is equipped with a 24-hour backup battery and a feature under which the device automatically conducts self-tests and notifies the monitoring center of any battery failures or system problems.
